Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and continued their working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1640hrs Bravo Company 26 Engineer at BS578884 Land Clearing Operation received approximately 20 rounds of small arms fire with no casualties or damages.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion. At 0840hrs Charlie Company 39 Engineer reports road is open from LZ Bronco to Chu Lai.
Alpha Company
November 20, 1969
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for Land Clearing Operation. Alpha Company is at BS833437 working with joint operations with the ARVN and continued to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation. At 0940hrs at BS812447 detained 2 VCS male, 35-40. 16-20 black P.J. found medical supplies on them evac to LZ Liz. At 1345hrs Alpha Company at BS801459 attached engineers while blowing a Bunker 2 VC hiding in a bunker, one VC CIA and one VC WIA, also 1 M-16, 1 AK47 CIA. They were sent in on a Dust Off completed at 1335hrs. Alpha Company reports on the Engineer Land Clearing Operation 100 Acres BS801451, BS808454, BS80463, BS803464, BS818429 and BS811444. Alpha Company at 1810hrs reports their Night Defense Position at BS833437, 92 at BS795458, 94 BS796458.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company is at BS783433 working with joint operations with the ARVN and continued to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation.
Charlie Company
November 20, 1969
Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 0830hrs Charlie Company conducts a Combat Assault PZ 0830hrs and LZ 0824hrs (BS752417). At 1400hrs Charlie Company has moved to BS733417 and at 1810hrs Charlie Company at BS729444 which is their Night Defense Position.
Delta Company

At 1000hrs Delta Company location is at BS752428 and closed at LZ Liz to take over the Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Echo Company
November 20, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission on LZ Liz. At 1410hrs Recon Platoon at BS763413 while approaching a hut one NVA evaded, results one NVA KIA, another one evaded out of the back door and engaged result one more KIA NVA. They were wearing black PJ and a blue shirt. Two packs were CIA, negative weapons or ID. Also found some Documents they will be evaded to LZ Bronco. At 1527hrs Recon Platoon at BS763413 pitch up 2 male VCS for questioning and pick up two females in the same area of the KIA one of the KIA had a picture of one of the female detain. At 1600hrs Recon Platoon reports location at BS721578. At 1940hrs Recon Platoon reports their Night Defense Position at BS763414.
