Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0910hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC vicinity BS675397 Helix 31 completed Air Strike and spotted 2 bunker and 2 spider holes with 5 meters trench line 20 meters from trail. At 1040hrs 174th TOC vicinity BS748348 Sharks observed fresh cut tree next to cave, looks like rocket launcher point towards LZ Bronco and entrance to cave well camouflaged. At 1415hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC Security Chief Thunder says there are 300 NVA (1 Battalion) at vicinity BS852302 have been 3-4 weeks, equipped with 5-6 57 RR and 3 82mm mortars and rest have AK47. At 1440hrs 1-20 Infantry LRRP vicinity BS631399 spotted 3 VC/NVA moving northeast and at 1500hrs vicinity BS631399 spotted 1 VC and 7 NVA. At 1845hrs 1-20 Infantry report that OP on LZ Liz observed 11 NVA at BS714434 with packs moving east on 515, called artillery with unknown results. At 2245hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC LZ Liz received 4 rounds 60mm from BS753446, rounds landed outside perimeter, negative casualties or damage.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 0015hrs LZ Bronco Bunker #14 received 1 B-40 round, rocket hit back wall of bunker, result 1 US WHA (M), bunker heavily damaged. Yellow Alert at 0015hrs and back to gray alert at 0045hrs. At 0655hrs LZ Bronco received 2 140mm rockets negative casualties. At 1050hrs E Troop vicinity 917256 Vehicle hit Command Detonate mine negative damage, 2 VC injuries (M), estimated 15 pounds. At 1900hrs 174 Aviation received sniper rounds at couple. LZ Bronco received 4 rounds of 57RR but they landed just out side the perimeter negative damage or casualties. At 2230hrs Bridge 111 received mortar fire and small arms fire.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued the Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown and security of bridges. At 1435hrs Alpha Company at BS923163 detained 1 female VCS and will be sent to LZ Charlie Brown. Alpha Company established night ambushes at BS922224, BS933227, and BS881331.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz and security for bridge 124 also will conduct a Platoon Recon in Force vicinity BS725434.
Charlie Company
March 20, 1969
Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder with local ambushes and at and will conduct a Recon in Force. At 2015hrs Charlie Company at BS880308 observed 5-6 VC engaged with 81mm, with unknown results.
Delta Company
March 20, 1969
At 1235hrs Delta Company at BS914259 found 1 US anti personnel mine and blew it in place. Delta Company at 1600hrs is en route to LZ Bronco and at 1645hrs reports their location at BS913236.
Echo Company
March 20, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 1740hrs Recon Platoon reports at BS754435 they have 1 male VC KIA evading.
