Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Thunder and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1910hrs E Troop at Bridge 112 receiving fire believe it is friendly. Action checked with LZ Bronco who was firing at this time, Bronco ceased firing, E Troop reported no more rounds, in their area.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 1900hrs Checked with Qui Nhon to see if there will be 1 or 2 convoys to Duc Pho there will be 2 convoys tomorrow. There will be 2 convoys tomorrow. The 2 will leave Qui Nhon at 0700hrs and arrive at LZ English at 1200hrs. At 1910hrs E Troop at Bridge 112 receiving fire believe it is friendly. Action checked with LZ Bronco who was firing at this time, Bronco ceased firing, E Troop reported no more rounds, in their area. LZ Bronco Headquarters Company reports a grenade thrown into their position at 839362, grenade hit bunker 11 and APC located there no casualties. At 2145hrs 6th Support Bunker #52 grid BS852374 received 3 rounds small arms fire. At 2240hrs Bunker 62 spotted 2 to 5 lights approximately 200 meters out vicinity grid BS842375, illumination was fired with negative sighting.
Alpha Company
January 20, 1968
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder with Security Patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 1615hrs Alpha reports in Village at base of LZ Thunder gird BS876313 searching and have burned several huts which produced secondary explosions. Several VC have been apprehended. At 1800hrs Alpha Company reports the following from search of village at BS865346 with following results 7 VCS apprehended, 5 draft dodgers, 2 confirmed VC and 1 of which threw grenade at 1-20 Infantry S-5.
Bravo Company

At 1620hrs Bravo Company set up their Patrol Base at BS896230 and will be there for 2 days and established OP at BS898219, BS905215 and BS907213.
Charlie Company
January 20, 1968
At 0915hrs Charlie Company at BS776318 for numerous tunnels well fortified, 4 of them searched and found nuts, plastic sheeting, destroyed. Charlie Company continued their Search and Destroy operation in their Area of Operation.
Delta Company
January 20, 1968
Delta Company is again working and their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown with their Security Mission for Bridges 107 and 108.
Echo Company
January 21, 1968
Echo Company and 4.2 platoon and radar platoon where located on LZ Thunder to provide direct support to the Battalion. At 0730hrs Recon Platoon report after Combat Assault and linked up with PF Force. At 0915hrs Recon Platoon at BS831321 searched 2 huts, found food just cooked, also VC clothing and 3 vials of medicine. Recon Platoon at 1300hrs reports their location at LZ Thunder.
