Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. 1-20 Infantry Charlie Company 3-1 Infantry reports their locations 21 at BS809357, 26 at BS826364, and 26 at BS809357. Charlie Company SRRP is at BS859285. At 1340hrs Charlie Company 3-1 Infantry reports at BS770390, have 2 men evac by Command and Control Helicopter for heat exhaustion.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. SP4 Paul L. Williams was evac to 312th Evac Hospital at 1630hrs with injury. Alpha Company reports that at BS 912257 tracks received sniper fire also fire 4.2 from Charlie Brown and checking area as this time. At 1350hrs MP at BS914258 Convoy moving north received small arms fire from east and west. Sharks scrambled negative enemy assessment. The following reported 2 WIA from wrecks of ¼ ton Jeep when it ran into side of APC results 2 US and I ARVN Dust Off to Chu Lai.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for Charlie Brown and with 81 still has security for Bridges 94 and 95. At 1140hrs Alpha Company on Brigade 95 Truck reports being shot up US truck going south to Lowboy. At 1335hrs Alpha Company at BS912257 tracks received sniper fire, negative casualties, called in 4.2 mortars with negative assessment. At 1820hrs Alpha Company reports their night locations 81 Bridge 94 and 83 Bridge 95 and 63 at BS914195. 1-20 Infantry reports SRRP locations Cougar at BS772393 and Jennifer at BS859285.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz with 81 on Bridge 124 and 24 at BS753426 and 69 at BS753421. At 1025hrs Bravo Company at BS832423 engaged 1 VC evading, the results were 1 KIA. At 1425hrs Bravo Company at BS774464 engaged a evading VC and the results were 1 KIA. 1-20 Infantry reports SRRP locations Cougar at BS772393 and Jennifer at BS859285.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder. At 1125hrs Charlie Company at BS778394 found an AK 47 round where fired Artillery and continued to search area. At 1815hrs Charlie Company 25 has moved into their night position at BS861292. 1-20 Infantry reports SRRP locations Cougar at BS772393 and Jennifer at BS859285.
Delta Company

Delta Company OPCON to 4-21 Infantry continued their Security Mission for LZ Dragon. At 1020hrs Delta Company conducts a Sweep and Clear Operation to be at BS714514 and at 1220hrs Delta 21 is at BS725525. Delta Company SRRP is located at BS642535.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0910hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at BS766407. At 1200hrs Recon Platoon security patrol is at BS768389, and at 1600hrs Recon Platoon back on LZ Liz.
