Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Dottie and will continued to work with ARVN units their Area of Operations. At 0854hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC reports APC at BS662837, BS667836 and BS673842. At 1020hrs Bravo Company 39th Engineer reports road will be closed north of LZ Snoopy from 1200-1500hrs and road will be open from LZ Dragon to Chu Lai at 1100hrs. At 1152hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC S-5 results of VIP Program at LZ Dottie had brought in 1 82mm mortar round, 8 clips M-1 ammo, 24 30 caliber rounds (Armor piercing). At 1206hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC reports E Troop location at BS673843. At 1343hrs 1-20 Infantry at BS785861 reported conducted 3 air strikes on known enemy bunkers, trench lines and mine field. Results 1 bunker destroyed and 3-4 damaged and 75 meters of trench line destroyed. At 1455hrs APC have moved back into LZ Dottie.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Dottie.
Bravo Company
October 1, 1968
At 0854hrs Bravo Company is located at Center of Mass BS663852 with APC at BS662837, BS667836 and BS673842. At 1030hrs Bravo Company is at BS665842 and by 1206hrs Bravo Company Center of Mass BS665842. At 1559hrs Bravo Company is located at BS658839 at 1800hrs they will use this location as their Night Defense Position with Listing Posts at BS657840 and BS657837.
Charlie Company

At 0800hrs Charlie Company is at Quang Ngai Airstrip continued their reaction force mission. At 1206hrs Charlie Company moved to BS615718 and established their Night Defense Position.
Delta Company
October 1, 1968
At 0845hrs Delta Company Command Post is at LZ Buff and at 0855hrs received 1 round of sniper fire from BS552831 returned fire with Artillery on that location. At 1030hrs Delta Company 68 element is at BS539834 with E Troop at BS673843 and at 1455hrs APC moving back to LZ Dottie.
Echo Company
October 1, 1968
Echo Company is located at LZ Dottie where Battalion Forward is and coordinates with the Battalion Rear Elements and Base Defense elements on LZ Dottie. The 4.2 Platoon is located on LZ Dottie where they continue to provide direct fire support for the (1-20 Infantry Battalion). At 1206hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at LZ Dottie.
