Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for the Land Clearing Operations. At 1000hrs Alpha Company 3-1 Infantry is located at BS740393. At 1600hrs From the Song Tra Khuc River S. along the 46 grid line to the 76 grid line e along the 76 grid line to the 76 grid line to the river. At 012400hrs approved Intelligence by 1-52 Military Intelligence. Alpha Company 3-1 Infantry reports night locations BS739396, 06 BS748405, 51 BS740402, 56 BS735398, 91 BS733398 and 96 BS738394.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion.

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for the Clearing Operation. Alpha Company at BS813482 and is working with joint operations with the ARVN and continued to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation. At 2100hrs Alpha Company is in their Night Defense Position at BS813482 with 56 BS780439, 94 at BS786442, 06 BS788407, BS790445 and BS790436.
Bravo Company

At 0805hrs Bravo Company at their Day logger at BS783433 and at 1320hrs Bravo Company at BS765433, detained 1 female VCS, 35, PF says she a food carrier for the VC, will be evac to Bronco. Bravo Company is in their Night Defense Position is at BS783433 and have multiple joint ambushes out tonight.
Charlie Company

At 0805hrs Charlie Company located is at BS727442 and Charlie Company by 1200hrs is at still in their Day Logger at BS727442. At 1447hrs Charlie Company at BS725435 detained 4 VCS wearing purple shorts and white shirts. Two had ID the interpreter says they will forged and will be evac to Bronco. At 2100hrs Charlie Company at BS715436 and 03, 04 at BS720446, and 51 at BS727435.
Delta Company

Delta Company will continue their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0800hrs Recon Platoon is located on LZ Liz with there Security Mission. At 1400hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at BS783433. At 2015hrs Recon Platoon received a few rounds of small arms fire 200 meters, north of their location engage with 4.2 Platoon at grid BS788488. At 2115hrs Recon reports their positions at BS789437 and BS788432.
