Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0215hrs Sabre 48 is on station box 64 broke station at 0300hrs with negative findings. At 0415hrs LT Robert inspected bunkers 13, 14, 15 and 4 all but 14 were satisfactory. At 0457hrs Access road at BS776444, trip flare went off north side of road engaged with small arms fire with negative findings. At 1905hrs Mo Duc requested Priority Dust Off for 1 PSDF with frag wounds to legs after stepping on a M-79 round. Bird #88 Dust Off completed at 1929hrs. At 1951hrs Nui Vong Delta Company routine Dust Off for US McDougal, Alexander, priority 2019hrs and Urgent at 2027hrs temp 103 degrees, symptoms of malaria going into shock Duct Off completed at 2055hrs. At 2136hrs 1-20 Infantry Battalion Mechanical Ambushes out: Alpha 8, Charlie 6, Delta 2 and Recon 1 for a total of 17. At 2230hrs LT Tobin bunkers inspected 7, 8, 9 and 13 all were satisfactory. At 2315hrs Sabre 48 is on station Box 64, broke station at 2340hrs wit negative findings. Legend: 1st Platoon 34, 2nd Platoon 05, 3rd Platoon 89, 4th Platoon 78, CO-07.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued to use Patrol Bases and multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. . At 0915hrs Alpha Company 1st Platoon is moving out to BS707518. At 1010hrs Alpha Company 1st Platoon Patrol is at checkpoint 3 at BS070513 and 1st Platoon links up with Command Post element. At 1715hrs Alpha Company 2nd Platoon Patrol is at checkpoint 4 at BS708488. At 2020hrs Alpha Company is in Night Defense Position locations 3rd Platoon at BS725490. At 2141hrs Alpha Company 2nd Platoon ambush in position at BS718489 and Alpha Company has 8 Mechanical Ambush out. At 2136hrs Alpha Company 3rd Platoon heard music from the southeast, requested Artillery result negative music.
Bravo Company

At 0740hrs Bravo Company Command Post with the 3rd Platoon is moving out to BS749445 and at 1020hrs closed on LZ Liz to take over the Security Mission for LZ Liz and Access Road Security. At 2230hrs LT Tobin inspected bunkers 7, 8, 8 and 13 and all were found satisfactory.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 0417hrs Lt. Roberts inspected Bunker Line at LZ Liz # 13, 14, 15 and 4 all but 14 were satisfactory. At 1030hrs Charlie Company patrol moving out to BS723422 and at 1126hrs Charlie Company Command Post and 3rd Platoon at BS724417, 2nd Platoon at BS726406 and 1st Platoon BS723422. At 2041hrs Charlie Company reports their Night Defense Location Command Post and 3rd Platoon at BS717414, 1st Platoon at BS714423, 2nd Platoon at BS723404 with 6 Mechanical Ambush out.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued using Patrol Bases and multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 0635hrs Delta Company 1st and 4th Platoon is moving out to Patrol Base at BS667454. At 0705hrs Delta Company Command Post and 2nd Platoon is in their Patrol Base at BS672547. At 0955hrs Delta Company 1st Platoon patrol is moving out to BS665541. At 0939hrs Delta Company 2nd Platoon is moving out to BS661530. Delta Company 3rd Platoon at OP Nui Vong for Security Mission. At 1720hrs Delta Company 3rd Platoon patrol moving out to BS728482. At 1951hrs Nui Vong Delta Company 3rd Platoon routine Dust Off for US McDougel, Alexander (Medic) priority at 2019hrs, Urgent at 2027hrs, Temp 103, symptoms of malaria going into shock, Dust Off completed at 2055hrs. Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for 1-20 Infantry. At 1800hrs Recon is moving out from LZ Liz to BS724417.
