Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continue their working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0900hrs 11th Brigade to 1-20 Infantry your Area of Operation is terminated as of December 1, 1969. At 0930hrs to Brigade from 1-20 Infantry we request transportation for the ARVN to be extracted from their position by truck, we will contact LZ Dragon. At 1215hrs LZ Dragon Mo Duc has JPF at BS746461 (general area) they have been there since 0800hrs. At 1553hrs 1-20 Infantry to Mo Duc our Charlie Company Night Defense Position at BS792492 will be closed to your area. AJAX Report: Alpha Company 185, Bravo Company 94, Charlie Company 99, Delta Company 111, Recon Platoon 20, and 4.2 Platoon 25.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion. At 1930hrs S-4 Rear the Access road is open at 1000hrs and 1500hrs with Artillery and Engineer also informed.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company will continue their Security Mission for Land Clearing Operation. At 0208hrs Alpha Company 72 element had three VC/NVA walk up to their location. The 72 element fire and might possible have gotten two KIA, but we are not sure, we will check out the area at first light. At 0708hrs Alpha Company on the action last night at grid BS808441 we have one VC KIA 27-32 years old, who was wearing black pajamas. We may have wounded two others but are not sure. There was a total of 3 VC. The VC KIA had one complete NVA Uniform, one Chi Com grenade and some documents which includes the name and age plus the village of some person two grenades where thrown into the 72 element location during the engagement. At 1120hrs Alpha Company at grid BS833437 2 M Boats have landed and 4 Bulldozers are loaded. There are 3 more in the water. The 3 in the water left at the same time as the 2 that where loaded left. We have no communication with the boats. The Alpha Company 32 element is patrolling Area of Operation and at 1919hrs Alpha Company 12 snake is at BS803447. Alpha Company Night Defense Position is at BS833437.
Bravo Company

At 0536hrs Bravo Company the 75 element has closed on BS741439 and at 0625hrs the 16 element close on BS741439. At 0633hrs Bravo Company the Gorilla element closed on BS783433, the 35 element closed on BS776446 and the Ranger element is moving out. At 0730hrs Bravo Company the Rangers will go to BS790445 then to BS786436 and finally to BS785433. At 0810hrs Bravo Company my 34 element is moving to BS763452 and the rangers are moving past checkpoint 3 at BS785433. At 0820hrs Bravo Company has closed on BS783433 and they took 1 VC in black pajamas under fire at grid BS791445 and checked out the area with negative results. At 0940hrs Bravo Company 72 has closed on BS833420. At 1125hrs Bravo Company Urgent Dust Off request for one Cadre was hit by an M-79 frag from a friendly Vietnamese patrol and is a litter patient complete 1135hrs. At 1200hrs Bravo Company the 72 and 75 element is moving to BS804407 and BS795416 respectively. At 1600hrs my Gorilla, 15, and Ranger elements will move to grid BS788440, Intelligence from MAVC says that there are tunnels and a ton of rice at this grid, and the VCS will show them where it is. At 0600hrs Bravo Company reports that 72 and 75 has closed on South Bridge at BS789417. At 1626hrs Bravo Company the jeep driver for Bravo Company found a M-16 laying in the road Highway 1 (Serial # 657482) The bolt was missing. Bravo Company will keep the weapon. At 1636hrs Bravo Company Urgent Dust Off requested for (two US and one PF) who were hit by booby trap. The two US have multiple frag wounds and the PF also has multiple frag wounds Dust Off complete 1646hrs at grid BS778440. The PF was unable to get to the Dust Off in time and the Dust Off 88 came back and picked up the PF at 1659hrs names (Wiley and Linn). At 1740hrs Bravo Company the 12 element has 2 VC 1 one about 18 of age and 1 female about 30 years old. They were picked up in the same area as they found the booby trap. The Bravo Company two US WHA Wiley and Linn (I Believe PFC Walter D. Linn and LT Charles R. Wiley). At 1919hrs Bravo Company reports their snake locations 14 at BS781434 and 33 at BS778438.
Charlie Company

At 0420hrs Charlie Company the little people have left on their mission to BS745468 (PF ARVN). At 0520hrs Charlie Company 75 element has closed on BS741439. At 0625hrs the 16 element closed on BS741439. At 0745hrs the ARVN have returned to grid BS755458. At 0922hr Charlie Company my Command Post and the 32 element are at the link up point at BS769465. At 1036hrs the ARVN have been extracted and the 72 element has closed on BS833437. At 1115hrs Charlie Company we are moving out on our mission. At 1742hrs Charlie Company we are moving into our Night Defense Position at BS796477.
Delta Company

Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. At 0553hrs 4.2 Platoon reports Supporting Missions 19, Observed Missions 3 with total expend 66 HE rounds. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0840hrs Recon Platoon we are moving, from our Night Defense Position to BS725433 and at 1500hrs Recon Platoon has closed on LZ Liz.
