Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Cork and will continued to work with ARVN units their Area of Operations in OPERATION VERNON LAKE II.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 0900hrs 19 Engineer at BS885296 Mine Sweep Team detain 1 VCS (21 Years old) and evac to LZ Thunder. At 0919hrs Bravo Company 39 Engineer reports at BS613896 received 25 rounds of sniper fire with negative casualties, At 0930hrs 4 more rounds of sniper fire and at 1010hrs at BS701601 received 2 more rounds with negative casualties and continued Mine Sweep.
Alpha Company
December 1, 1968
Due to weather conditions, activities were curtailed during the day. Alpha Company was air lifted from PZ BS492602 to Quang Ngai Air Strip with Recon ARVN air move to BS492602 from Quang Ngai Air Strip and the Air Move completed at 1045hrs. At 1815hrs Alpha Company is Air Moved from Quang Ngai to LZ Cork completed at 1750hrs. All the 1-20 Infantry units are resting and preparing for Air Assault in the Song Re Valley tomorrow. Alpha Company takes over the Security Mission for LZ Cork.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Cork. 1-20 Infantry reports Due to weather conditions, activities were curtailed during the day. All units resting and preparing for air assault in the Song Re Valley tomorrow.
Charlie Company

Echo Company

Echo Company is located at LZ Cork where Battalion Forward is and coordinates with the Battalion Rear Elements and Base Defense elements on LZ Cork. The 4.2 Platoon is located on LZ Cork where they continue to provide direct fire support for the (1-20 Infantry Battalion). Recon Platoon is located on LZ Cork for Security of (the 1-20 Infantry TOC).
