Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Siberia and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0700hrs Resupply Bird is on station. At 1035hrs Herevles 78 is at grid BS9420 trail with fresh signs of activity. Leaving box Fox contact mission. At 1040hrs Trophy 79 inbound to LZ Siberia. At 1410hrs Dolphin 14 flying at 100 meters 50 knots received 40 rounds of automatic weapons fire at AT905265, shut down on LZ Siberia, check bird with negative hits. At 1500hrs Tango Company 1st Platoon goes OPCON to Charlie 1-1 Calvary will move by 1-20 Infantry and 1-1 Calvary resupply birds. At 1730hrs Dolphin 14 Resupply bird is released. Legend: 1st Platoon 78, 2nd Platoon 55.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for Chu Lai.
Alpha Company
September 19, 1971
At 0905hrs Alpha Company 1st and 2nd Platoons with Command Post is moving to their Patrol Base at AT882272 and continued to use Saturation Patrolling in the Area of Operation. At 1655hrs Alpha Company 2nd Platoon is moving to their Night Defense Position at AT882272. At 1729hrs 1st Platoon and Command Post is moving to their Night Defense Position.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ West with some Defense Patrolling round the Fire Base.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Siberia. Charlie Company reports PFC Aldean Smith and SP4 Ramos M. Banks where attached to the 91st Evac Hospital reason sick or unknown.
Delta Company
September 19, 1971
At 1430 Delta Company has 2nd Platoon Patrol while moving out on patrol to AT862246 found 1 bundle of approximately 40 stakes Punji and destroyed in place. At 1620hrs Delta Company is moving now into their Night Defense Position at AT863257.
Echo Company
September 19, 1971
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Siberia, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the coordination responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for 1-20 Infantry. At 0945hrs Recon is moving out to their Patrol Base and closed on Patrol Base at 1020hrs. At 1350hrs Recon while on patrol #WH300 fell in hole and wench knee at AT858246, tactical Dust Off requested and completed.
