Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Dottie and will continued to work with ARVN units their Area of Operations. At 1610hrs 1-20 Infantry requested snatch mission from BS503783 north along 50 grid line and BS500900 and west along 90 east west grid line to BS440900 south along north south grid line. Request snatch from lower left BS6780, Lower right BS7080 and upper right BS7090 call sign is "Gusty Insult" 65.00.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company
October 19, 1968
At 0807hrs Alpha Company conducted a Combat Assault from LZ Dottie to BS493875 and BS507864 with first LZ at 0807hrs and last LZ at 0850hrs LZ was cold. At 1200hrs Alpha Company is located at BS503864 and using Saturation Patrolling in their Area of Operation.
Bravo Company

At 0843hrs Bravo Company at BS488849 hit trip wire to a Booby trap, which sent straight up in the air but did not detonate but landed on a radio and radio equipment and some field equipment requests EOD team.
Charlie Company
October 19, 1968
At 1000hrs Charlie Company air move extraction from BS506835 to LZ Dottie and take over Security Mission 1st PZ at 0900hrs Last LZ 1001hrs and have one roving patrol Center of Mass BS6385.
Delta Company
October 19, 1968
Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Buff.
Echo Company
October 19, 1968
Echo Company is located at LZ Dottie where Battalion Forward is and coordinates with the Battalion Rear Elements and Base Defense elements on LZ Dottie. The 4.2 Platoon is located on LZ Dottie where they continue to provide direct fire support for the (1-20 Infantry Battalion). Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Dottie. SP4 Arthur T. Jimenez was evac to 6th Evac Hospital sick at 0930hrs.
