Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Thunder and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company
March 19, 1968
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder with Bravo Company and Recon is preparing for move tomorrow North to the 196th Infantry Brigade Area of Operation. At 1155hrs Alpha Company has Security Patrol out at BS846362 engaged 2 VC evading and with result 2 VC WIA and CIA, will Dust Off.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company At 1258hrs Bravo Company first of their lifts is leaving LZ Thunder as they begin their movement north and OPCON to the 196th Infantry Light Infantry Brigade.
Charlie Company
March 19, 1968
Charlie Company OPCON to TASK FORCE BARKER continued their Security Mission for LZ Dottie will use some Security Patrols in the LZ Dottie Area of Operation.
Delta Company
March 19, 1968
At 1210hrs Delta Company is starting their air movement north to LZ Colt to be ready to take over as the Reaction Company for the reaction Battalion for the Americal Division, and we where the Reaction Company for the 1-20 Infantry was the reaction Battalion. Delta Company moved north and landed just outside of LZ Colt and where we spent the night outside the perimeter under the control of the 196th Infantry Brigade OPCON.
Echo Company
March 19, 1968
Echo Company and 4.2 platoon where located on LZ Thunder to provide direct support to the Battalion and prepare for their move north. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder as the Battalion gets ready for their move north today and tomorrow.
