Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Dottie at 0740hrs Alpha Company security patrol moved back to LZ Dottie and they have 1 roving patrol center of mass BS6285.
Bravo Company

At 1335hrs Bravo Company at LZ Buff conduct a Combat Assault PZ 1325hrs and last LZ at 1346hrs cold location BS494848. At 1415hrs Bravo Company at BS493829, and at 1511hrs Bravo Company at BS504835 have 2 VC KIA, with 3 VCS detainee will evac to LZ Dottie. At 1738hrs Bravo Company were at BS488849 which was their Night Defense Position and was unloading their supplies, when they hit what they believe to be a B/B mine results 5 WHA and 2 KHA. Dust Off completed at 1755hrs to Chu Lai. Bravo Company reports that SP4 Salvador Rivera and SGT Joseph F Knight where evac to 27 Surgical Hospital also PFC Ronald J. Magliane and Duane E. Paepke where evac to the 312th Evac Hospital. SP4 Burt P. Andelotte was injury broken right arm and evac to 312th Evac Hospital. Bravo Company reports SGT JOHN PAUL MILLS AND CPL JIMMY CARROLL GREEN medic (Headquarters and Headquarter Company Medic) where LISTED AS KIA.
Charlie Company

At 0750hrs Charlie Company is at BS526837 and at 1140hrs Charlie Company center of mass at BS503827 received 10-15 rounds automatic weapons fire from above grid with negative casualties calling 81mm mortar now. At 1625hrs Charlie Company center of mass BS505834 and at 1940hrs Charlie Company establishes their Night Defense Position at BS505835 with one LP at the71 element at BS506837.
Delta Company

Delta Company at 0930hrs moved into LZ Buff and took over the Security Mission for the LZ Buff.
Echo Company

Echo Company is located at LZ Dottie where Battalion Forward is and coordinates with the Battalion Rear Elements and Base Defense elements on LZ Dottie. The 4.2 Platoon is located on LZ Dottie where they continue to provide direct fire support for the (1-20 Infantry Battalion). Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Dottie. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Dottie. SP4 Curt J. Siegfried was evac to 1st Medical Battalion 1st Marine Division sick at 1730hrs.
