At 1500hrs 1-20 Infantry LZ Liz 26 engineers brought one Vietnamese child one Vietnamese women and a Vietnamese male suffering from frag wounds, Dust Off complete at 1450hrs, unknown as to how they received the wounds. At 2120hrs 1-20 Infantry Recon (change of Plans) will check out intelligence in their area BS729482- BS734474 and BS739487. At 2220hrs To Alpha Troop 1st of 1st Calvary the APC crews of APC 31, 33 and 38 have to go to Chu Lai for investigation concerning rape on the Gaza Strip during Land Clearing Operations. At 2315hrs E Troop 1-Cav APC was disabled at Delta Company Night Defense Position APC has been repaired moved to Alpha Company Night Defense Position.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion. At 0500hrs LZ Bronco Base Defense movement along canal traveling northeast at BS845377, will put mortar in now also notified 1-20 Infantry.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for Land Clearing Operation. Alpha Company is at BS833437 working with joint operations with the ARVN and continued to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation. At 1943hrs at BS840402, Alpha Company spotted a boat with possible 8 VC/NVA 150 to 200 meters away. They opened fire enemy returned fire then abandoned the boat. The 63 element destroyed the boat, footprints were found near the boat. At 0911hrs a search of the area revealed 1 VC KIA, 1 45 pistol. He was wearing a blue shirt and shorts. He also was carrying 2 to 3 pounds of rice. The pistol will be evac to Liz. Alpha is working out of their Day Logger at BS833437, with ambushes 98 BS795458, and 13 at BS834406. At 1450hrs 1-20 Infantry reports 26 Engineer brought 1 Vietnamese woman and one Vietnam male suffering from frag wounds, Dust Off was completed at 1450hrs, unknown as to how they received wounds. At 1620hrs Alpha Company reports Engineer reports on land clearing operations 100 acres BS805456, BS806458, BS815443 and BS816445 with no mines or booby traps. At 2315hrs E Troop 1-Cav APC was disabled at Delta Company Night Defense Position APC has been repaired moved to Alpha Company Night Defense Position.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company is at BS783433 working with joint operations with the ARVN and continued to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation. At 1125hrs Bravo Company request Dust Off for one Vietnamese civilian who stepped on a mine, Dust Off completed at 1130hrs. At 1940hrs Bravo Company continued to put out Joint operation multiple night ambushes and at 2105hrs Bravo Company 63 element observed movement and blew claymores, check area with negative results will check again at first light.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 1940hrs Charlie Company have two ambushes out 94 BS763437 and 16 at BS758436.
Delta Company
November 18, 1969
Delta Company at 0800hrs is at BS794459 and by 1000hrs confirmed kill from 2130hrs action the NVA dressed KHAKI Uniforms, pistol belt, poncho, 2 Chi Com hand grenades. Delta is using their Night Defense Position for their Day Logger BS476737 and will use it again tonight as their Night Defense Position tonight, with 12 at BS797417.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0730hrs Recon Platoon ambush return to LZ Liz. At 2120hrs Charlie Company and Recon Platoon (change of plans) will check out intelligence in their area BS729482-BS734474-BS739487.
