Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1450hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC reports EM broke hand request Dust OFF. At 1100hrs E Troop TOC vicinity BS914257 APC hit pressure mine, results 1 WIA and 1KIA (SGT ROBERT A. McIntosh IS LISTED AS KIA) and Dust Off completed at 1350hrs with slight damage to track.. At 1305hrs E Troop 1 Cav at BS914257 detained and evac to LZ Bronco for questioning, 1 detainee was carrying French medical supplies. At 1930hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC OP on LZ Liz observed 4 dark figures in 515 Valley called artillery with unknown results.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. SP4 Jerry Brown was evac to 312th Evac Hospital at 0200hrs with 2nd degree burns to right arm.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued the Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown with local ambushes today will established a (Day Ambush) in the vicinity BS909243. At 1145hrs Alpha Company 82 is located at BS916253.
Bravo Company
March 18, 1969
Bravo Company has the Security Mission for LZ Liz and today 1 Platoon conducts a Recon in Force to vicinity BS7644. At 1010hrs vicinity BS767437 conducts a Dust Off for 1 female gun shot wound, right side and completed at 1018hrs. At 1435hrs LZ Liz Bravo Company EM broke hand and requested a Dust Off. 1LT ROBERT LLOYD BALDWIN listed as KHA Died of Wounds (see March 17, 1969).
Charlie Company

Charlie Company has the Security Mission for LZ Thunder with local ambushes and today 2 Platoon established block position at BS7638. At 1455hrs vicinity BS876342 Charlie Company detained 1 VCS CIA. At 1820hrs Charlie Company set up in their ambush at BS802310.
Delta Company

Delta Company OPCON to 4-21 Infantry continued their Security Mission for LZ Dragon. 0950hrs Delta Company at BS709544 hit unknown type of booby trap (homemade) results was 3 multiple frag wounds WHA Dust Off completed at 0955hrs. At 1510hrs Delta Company at PZ at BS761382 to LZ at BS912266 at 1605hrs. At 2025hrs Delta Company on LZ Dragon observed movement southeast about 400 meters from perimeter, fired 81mm Mortar Illumination and small arms fire, negative assessment. 1-20 Infantry SRRP reports Jennifer at BS863297 and Dana closed. (Possible SP4 Leslie Rifanburg, SP4 Stephen Lingle and SP4 Clifford Long WIA)
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for LZ Liz Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz and reports their ambush location at 1820hrs at BS768435.
