Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1735hrs MACV Mo Duc reports the PF on operations vicinity BS784510, killed 3 enemies and captured 3, also captured 1 SKS and 1 carbine. At 1855hrs TMF Sting 72C a stationary target with metal detected, negative clearance due to friendly. At 1955hrs TMF Sting 61 C sighted 3 packs moving east to west at 2 miles per hour metal confirmed and engaged at 1949hrs with 8 HE 105mm Artillery. At 2120hrs 1-20 Infantry requests Area of Operation extension 05A be extended to 30 November 2400hrs was approved by LT Vinh. At 2250hrs Brigade requests Area of Operation extension for 4-21 Infantry, approved for 171800hrs to be extended to 181800hrs November 1970, request Area of Operation extension B20 be extended to 181800hrs approved by LT Lewis. Legend: 1st Platoon 12-18, 2nd Platoon 62-68, 3rd Platoon 82-88, 4th Platoon 32-38 and CO 44.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company again used Patrol Bases 1st Platoon at BS677576, 3rd Platoon moving to BS669572 and patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 1906hrs Alpha Company 1st and 4th Platoon and Command Post in location BS762603, 3rd Platoon in location at BS757614 and 2nd Platoon in location at BS765599.
Bravo Company

At 1010hrs Bravo Company 3rd Platoon at BS759571, request Priority Dust Off for 1 Kit Carson Scout, Phan Van Doung hit booby trap, can of Petna with trip wire on a trail, received multiple frag wounds to both legs, Dust Off completed at 1035hrs. At 1203hrs 3rd Platoon was able to find booby trap vicinity BS757572, it was a mackerel can of C-4 with trip flare firing device. The trip wire ran to a trail and was destroyed in place. At 1356hrs Bravo Company 3rd Platoon vicinity BS756572 detained 1 Vietnamese female age 24, negative ID, wearing blue tops and black bottoms. She was caught while evading to the west, grid of pick-up was with in 300 meters of 2 previously found booby traps will extract on back haul, her name is Qu Ina.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company will continue their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Delta Company
November 17, 1970
Delta Company continued to use multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 0850hrs Delta Company 1st Platoon patrol is moving out for BS677576 and 3rd Platoon is moving to BS669572. At 0915hrs Delta Company 1st Platoon closed on BS672577 and 3rd Platoon has closed on BS675599. At 1932hrs Delta Company is in location at BS679571.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the coordination responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for the 1-20 Infantry.
