Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0910hrs 1-20 Infantry reports Charlie Company 3-1 Infantry locations 26 at BS806369, 64 at BS817441 with remainder at LZ Bronco. At 1620hrs Charlie Company 3-1 Infantry 81-83 at BS785397, 61-64 at BS798402, Command Post-21-25 at BS774387.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company
February 16, 1969
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown with 21 on bridge 94 and 22 on bridge 95 and at 1155hrs 61 is at BS937233. At 1620hrs SRRP Dragnet at BS677534 has observed 10 people running into hut, called in Artillery with results 3 VC KIA by Artillery. At1820hrs Alpha Company reports locations 21 on Bridge 94 and 23 on Bridge 95 with 55 at BS934234. At 1855hrs Alpha Company SRRP at BS643480 engaged 1 VC with artillery with results 1 VC KIA. At 1910hrs Dana at BS855295 spotted 30 to 10 VCS in black PJ’s moving southwest couldn’t tell if they had weapons or not.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz with 61 Bridge 124 with 82 at BS755436 and 63 at BS754420. At 1000hrs Bravo Company conducts Combat Assault 1st PZ at 0936hrs to LZ BS790437 and Completed at 0950hrs. At 1040hrs Bravo Company at BS791436 found 1 tunnel containing 1 battery operated portable loud speaker including medical supplies, propaganda leaflets in English and Vietnamese, signed by NLF will evac to LIZ. At 1910hrs Dana is at BS855295 spotted 30-40 VCS in black pajamas moving southwest couldn’t tell if they had weapons or not.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder. At 1900hrs Charlie Company at BS844295 observed 30 to 40 Vietnamese in black PJ moving southwest and 1-20 Infantry reports SRRP locations Dragnet at BS640534 and Dana at BS857286.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Dragon. 1-20 Infantry reports SRRP locations Dragnet at BS640534 and Dana at BS857286. At 1910hrs Dana 1-20 Infantry spotted 30-40 VCS in black PJ moving southwest couldn’t tell if they had weapons or not.
Echo Company
February 16, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0910hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at BS717424 and at 1125hrs they are at BS705423 and closed on LZ Liz at 1615hrs.
