Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0150hrs LZ Liz SGT Anderson checked bunkers 6, 7, 8, and 9 all satisfactory. At 0251hrs TMF G14, String activation 66 target A have stationary target with negative metal confirmation, time received at 0251hrs and engaged at 0305hrs with 10 VT HE rounds Artillery 105mm. At 1245hrs 3-4 ARVN vicinity BS277423 request Urgent Dust Off for ARVN with stomach wounds from Booby trap on a trail Bird # 52 completed at 1318hrs. At 0950hrs Quang Ngai Headquarters and Headquarter Company 1-20 Infantry 5 Ton truck HHC 1-20 HQ #33 driven by US, stopped on wet road and a civilian jeep stuck it, in the rear end. No Damage to 5 Ton, Civilian Jeep a total loss. No charges filed against 5 Ton driver, negative confrontation, 2 Vietnamese Civilian injured (minor facial cuts). At 1432hrs 1-20 Infantry Primo 3 is on station at this time. At 1435hrs 1-20 Infantry Dolphin 26 broke station. At 1450hrs 1-20 Infantry Warlord 09 is working Air Calvary Box 51. At 1530hrs Primo 3 has broke station. At 1635hrs 1-20 Infantry Division Commander (M) departed, discussed general situation, enemy lack of activity and primarily drug abuse, Called Brigade at 1635hrs. At 1805hrs 1-20 Infantry Special Forces Camp Gia Vuc and Ba To, have a negative situation report at this time. At 1909hrs Recon is leaving LZ Liz for Night Defense Position at BS756445. At 2028hrs 1-20 Infantry Mechanical Ambushes out Alpha 4, Bravo 1 and Recon 1 for a total of 6 out. At 2243hrs TMF Sting Gs6 C Target 4 to 6 personnel moving north at 3 miles per hour with metal confirmation, engaged at 2247hrs expended 10 HE 4.2 mortars. Legend: 1st Platoon 17, 2nd Platoon 44, 3rd Platoon 56, 4th Platoon 23 and CO-64.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 1610hrs 4-21 Battalion MAN #612 departed LZ Bronco for Chu Lai with 82 Pax from 4-21 Infantry and at 1755hrs, MSN #896 departed LZ bronco for Chu Lai with 55 pax from 4-21 Infantry and 35 Pax remain at LZ Bronco for tonight and will leave on C7A on 16 June 1971 for Chu Lai. At 2208hrs Delta Company 3rd Platoon lured Madam K and babyson inside wire and MP apprehended them, MP has them at the present time.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued to use Patrol Bases and multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 1850hrs Alpha Company is moving to their Patrol Base at BS664563. At 1426hrs Alpha Company 3rd Platoon Patrol is at checkpoint 1 at BS674553. At 1515hrs Alpha Company 3rd Platoon is at checkpoint 3 vicinity BS677554. At 2006hrs Alpha Company all in Night Defense Position Command Post, 3rd and 4th Platoons at BS677550, 1st Platoon at BS677558 with 4 Mechanical Ambush out.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued to use Patrol Bases and multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 1330hrs Bravo Company 2nd Platoon Patrol has closed on BS707448. At 1507hrs Bravo Company 1st Platoon patrol is moving to BS694493. At 1655hrs Bravo Company 1st Platoon Patrol is moving to BS699486. At 1755hrs Bravo Company 3rd Platoon patrol has closed on BS704482, 1st Platoon Patrol has closed on BS693486 and 2nd Platoon is moving out to BS694460. At 2014hrs Bravo Company all elements in their Night Defense Position Command Post and 3rd Platoon is at BS704478, 2nd Platoon is at BS713452 and 1st and 4th Platoons at BS693484 with 1 Mechanical Ambush out.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 0150hrs LZ Liz SGT Anderson checked bunkers 6, 7, 8 and 9 all satisfactory. At 0455hrs Charlie Company LZ Liz SFC Goat inspected bunkers 3, 4 and 5 all were satisfactory.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 2208hrs Delta Company 3rd Platoon lured Madam K and babyson inside wire and MP apprehended them, MP has them at the present time.
Echo Company
June 15, 1971
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for 1-20 Infantry. At 1909hrs Recon is leaving LZ Liz for Night Defense Position vicinity BS756445. At 2012hrs Recon has closed on their location at BS756445.
