Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. Most of morning about large number of people in the area BS768555, unable to put Air Strike in without clearance, also reported in area at BS766522. Quang Ngai Visual Recon by 1-20 Infantry S-3 stated west of the people spotted were women and children, looked like a celebration of some sort. . At 1620hrs Charlie Company 3-1 Infantry location 81-83 at BS785397, 61-64 at BS798402, Command Post, 21, 25 at BS774387. At 1725hrs EOD team out to LZ Liz tomorrow to blow round from New Jersey, they can fly out at 1600hrs with Command and Control Helicopter. At 1720hrs Charlie Company 3-1 Infantry reports their locations 56 at BS817402, 41 at BS802363, SRRP Dragnet at BS640534, Cat at BS768385, Dana at BS857286. At 1730hrs 1-20 Infantry all element are in a defensive posture Major Danner S-3. At 2000hrs from Brigade S-2 All commanders to know that there is a distinct possibility of an attack tonight throughout the 11th Brigade Area of Operation. At 2025hrs 1-20 Infantry requests an E.O.D. team for 16 February 1969, will meet 1-20 Infantry at Budweiser pad at 1300hrs. They have projectile at BS7338 believed to be a round from the New Jersey.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and base defense for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company in air movement to LZ Charlie Brown and will take over the Security Mission for LZ and Bridges 95 and 94. At 0720hrs Alpha Company locations the 43 element is on Bridge 94 and 41 is on Bridge 95 with the 23 element at BS933222 and 53 at BS933250.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 0145hrs Bravo company at BS680680 reports DATE/TIME 142300hrs February 1969 a PRU ambush reported that 1 VC was engaged with 1 VC KIA. At 1054hrs Bravo Company at BS746406 received sniper fire from 5 weapons, negative casualties, returned fire with negative assessment. At 1650hrs at BS741386 found tunnel is very massive complex we went in 30 meters. At 1400hrs Bravo has 22 on bridge 124, 44 is at BS753436, 69 at BS754420 and 43 at BS741386. We need light and Commo requests that Command and Control helicopter bring Commo and lights. At 1438hrs Bravo Company at BS746398 engage 3 VC evading, results 1 VC KIA and 2 VC suspects CIA and at 1500hrs found 16" round dud from the New Jersey in the location of tunnel. At 1620hrs SRRP Dragnet at BS677534 observed 10 people running into hut, called Artillery with results 3 VC KIA by Artillery. At 2025hrs 1-20 request an EOD team for 16 Feb 69 with meet 1-20 Budweiser pad at 1300hrs. They have the projectile at BS7338, believed to come from New Jersey.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder. At 1400hrs Charlie Company 51 is located at BS885310. At 1420hrs Charlie Company at BS885310 received 20-30 rounds 1 AK47 and 2 carbines engaged and the results was 1 VC KIA evading. Then five minutes later same location another VC evading and the result was 1 VCS WIA and CIA and at 1438hrs Dust Off completed for WIA CIA. SP4 Micky S. Reese was attached to 312th Evac Hospital sick.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown and provided security for Bridges 95 and 94. At 0815hrs all SRRP where brought in to their LZ. Delta Company conducts air movement with Alpha Company from Charlie Brown to LZ Dragon and have take over the Security Mission for LZ Dragon. Began at 0830hrs and completed at 1150hrs. At 1054hrs Delta Company 46 at BS746407 received sniper fire from about 3 to 5 weapons, Air Strike sent to contact (1105hrs) receiving fire from 3 sides, helix on station negative casualties and at 1150hrs contact broken, negative results. Delta Company sent out SRRP Dragnet at BS640534 and Dana at BS657286. At SRRP Dana is at BS603517 observed many fires burning to southwest seem like a village burning.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Charlie Company, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the South portion of the Area of Operations. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 1200hrs Recon Platoon reports its location at BS753456. At 1600hrs Recon Platoon is back on LZ Liz.
