Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company
April 15, 1970
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 1024hrs Alpha Company 01 element is moving out, at 1200hrs the 01 element found approximately a ton of rice in 3 hootches (loose). Charlie Company found the rice in reaction to intelligence that this rice was there, it will go to S-5, at 1355hrs Alpha Company 03 element linked up 01 at BS734436.
Bravo Company

At 0710hrs Bravo Company the 64 element is moving out for road security. Bravo Company working with RF Company 147,172 and PF Platoons 109, 193 and 185 as the work on Hamlets Pacification in their Area of Operation. At 0717hrs Bravo Company 62 hit a booby trap at BS803421. The US was injured by a piece of small frag in the head. We do not need to Dust Off and will continue the patrol line #153 ( Hartley). At 1815hrs the Bravo Company 04 element request an Urgent Dust Off for one PF who was hit by a truck (US type Water), the PF was Dust Off at 1818hrs, and Military Police will be sent out to this location. Bravo Company reports SP4 Glenn A. Hartilly with frag wounds forehead and both legs was treated at B 23 Medical.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company is moving to their Day Logger at BS724453. Charlie Company 01 element has closed on Day Logger and the 04 element also has closed. The 01 element is moving out and at 0859hrs Charlie Company the 81 element picked up one male detainee at BS748445, he was 35, No ID. At 1150hrs Charlie Company report their location at BS746447. At 1350hrs Charlie Company at BS748439, 05 found 800 pounds 800 pounds of unpolished rice, found under the floor of a hut, rice was not in any kind of container and will evac to MACV. Charlie Company working with the National Police total number of detainees today is 29 adult Vietnamese and 11 children where detained and after processing 11 adults where sent to Military to Military Intelligence. Charlie Company also extracted approximately 1000 pounds of rice, need more bags. Charlie Company will conduct Search and Clear Operations with some Day Ambushes and multiple ambushes in their Area of Operation. Charlie Company Night Defense Position is at BS746447 with multiply night ambushes out.
Delta Company

Delta Company reports contact in the area was light resulting interned one detainee in to Military Intelligence, destroyed 3-155 rounds, Delta Company the Command Post is at BS782397.
Echo Company
April 15, 1970
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. At 4.2 Platoon has no report available today. Echo Company Headquarters has the coordination responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon will continue their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
