Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1535hrs Command and Control Helicopter 3-1 Infantry received 15-20 rounds Small Arms Fire with 1 US WHA (E) who died results 1 KHA at BS832928, (Command and Control Helicopter was controlling Bravo 3-1 Infantry Operations). I believe it to be E-7 Elbert James Sauls from 11 Brigade.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 0817hrs Delta Company 19 Engineer at BS890271, mine sweep team found 1 mine in road, EM was placing charge on mine when mine detonated with the result 1 US KIA. SSGT Bert Decker listed from Delta Company 19 Engineer Battalion.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued the Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown with local ambushes today 1 Platoon conducts Recon in Force vicinity BS9218.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company has the Security Mission for LZ Liz last night and today will have 1 Platoon conducts a Recon in Force vicinity BS7443. At 1100hrs vicinity BS724439 Bravo Company detained 1 VCS.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company has the Security Mission for LZ Thunder with local ambushes and one Platoon conducts a Recon in Force to BS8530.
Delta Company
March 14, 1969
Delta Company established multiple ambushes southeast and east of LZ Bronco today will conduct saturation patrolling vicinity BS8436 and BS8337. At 1600hrs vicinity BS835360 Delta Company engaged a group of VC evaded results in 3 VCS CIA evade to LZ Bronco.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Dragon, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for LZ Dragon Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for the 1-20 Infantry with Security Patrols, Ambushes and as a Reaction Platoon.
