Battalion Rear: Battalion continued your Mission of general support for the Battalion with enemy activities on Highway 1 both north and south of LZ Bronco. At 1100hrs Charlie Company 39 Engineer at BS795405 reports lambretta with 4 Vietnamese hit a 25 pound mine on right shoulder of road crater 4’ wide by 3’ deep, results 2 Vietnamese civilians severe lacerations, 2 civilian minor lacerations, 3 Vietnamese dust Off to Duc Pho by Vietnamese bus.

Alpha Company and Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company set up their Day Logger at BS734470 and at 0915hrs founds 1.5 ton of rice and at 1325hrs found another 1.5 ton of rice, which they will evac to Duc Pho.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company has taken over the Security Mission for LZ Liz. 0230hrs received 2 RPG rounds with negative Casualties or damage, Quad 50 fired in the general direction. At 0630hrs Fire Support Base Liz received 2 more RPG rounds with negative casualties or damage with 74 on North OP and 72 on South OP.
Delta Company

At 0755hrs Delta Company at BS812425 which will be there Day Logger at 1527hrs Delta Company complete their Combat Assault. At 1815hrs Delta Company is in their Night Defense Position at BS811421 and the 94 element is their Night Defense Position at BS809478.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion.
