Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Thunder and will continue to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company has the Security Mission for LZ Thunder and Bridge security for 99-100 and 104-105 with the 1st Platoon on LZ Thunder.
Bravo Company
February 14, 1968
Bravo Company continued to use Recon in Force and Search and Destroy operations, for their Area of Operation. At 1630hrs Bravo Company is located at BS880330. At 2025hrs Bravo Company engaged unknown size force at BS857318, results is one VC KIA and 1 weapon CIA. Weapon was a M-14E-2 automatic SN#4577888. At 2105hrs Bravo Company has their Night Defense Position at BS877321.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Uptight. At 1035hrs Charlie Company is located at BS736823. At 1215hrs Villagers knows location of 1 VC village and 2 VC hamlets and will check this out. At 1600hrs Charlie Company detained 1 VCS and by 2150hrs located at LZ Uptight.
Delta Company
February 14, 1968
Delta Company 1-20 Infantry moved at 0200hrs that morning from the mountains into the coastal area to seal off a village where a estimate platoon size element was suspected to be located. Delta Company had three sides of the village but unable to cut off completely by 0630hrs before the personnel started to escape the area, CIA VC BS833317, Delta 1st Platoon BS833317 at 0830hrs detained 2 VC suspects and one more suspects, which was WIA captured VCS suspects and Dusted Off. Gun ships where in the area but Delta Company couldn’t use them, and had to hold firing on them, because of so many civilians moving with the suspects as shields. At 1630hrs Delta Company is located at LZ Bronco for a short stop before moving out later.
Echo Company
February 14, 1968
Echo Company and 4.2 platoon and radar platoon where located on LZ Thunder to provide direct support to the Battalion. Recon Platoon has the Security Mission for LZ Thunder.
