Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and continued their working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0715hrs 1-20 Infantry requests 2 scout dogs, will pick up this afternoon and be out two nights. At 0805hrs 1-20 Infantry wants 2 scout dogs, will pick up this afternoon and be out two nights. At 0845hrs 1-20 Infantry Colonel Wilson is gone to Chu Lai for 2-3 hours. At 0855hrs MACV PF is cutting bamboo at grids at BS830352 and BS830348 and don’t Shoot these people. At 1330hrs 1-20 Infantry vicinity BS752376 extracted 21 civilians to LZ Liz, from there to Military Intelligence to LZ bronco. They were evading and the area was restricted. Also the area where the intelligence report says people were digging in. At 1845hrs Charlie Company extracted 91 PZ 1700hrs BS459381 to LZ 1715hrs LZ Liz.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion.
Alpha Company
November 13, 1969
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for Land Clearing Operation. At 1250hrs Alpha Company and PRU brought one NVA under fire results is one NVA KIA, 1 NVA pistol belt, one ID CIA. The individual was wearing black P.J. The PRU will keep all that was captured. At 1250hrs Alpha Company and PRU brought one NVA under fire with results one NVA KIA, one NVA Pistol Belt and one ID NVA the individual was wearing black BJ the PRU will keep all that was captured. At 1305hrs Alpha Company at BS838412, PRU working with, engaged 2 NVA results 2 NVA CIA, with pith helmets, pistols belts, and canteens one was dressed in a green uniform and one dressed in a Brown Uniform and they will be evac to Bronco. At 1340hrs Alpha Company at BS840412, request Dust Off for US WIA (E) with gunshot wounds in the hip and groin, Dust Off completed at 1346hrs. The man was shot by sniper. At 1415hrs Alpha Company at BS841403 engaged unknown size enemy force with small arms fire and automatic weapons fire with results 5 NVA KIA, 3 NVA CIA, along with 2 AK-47, 4 Chi Com Hand Grenades CIA and evac to LZ Bronco. Alpha Company reports 160 acres BS820435, BS828449, BS822430 and BS822435 no booby-traps or mines.
Bravo Company
November 13, 1969
Bravo Company is BS783433 as it as their Patrol Base and at 0857hrs Bravo Company at BS771461, request Urgent Dust Off for 1 Vietnamese female 17 with 2 gunshot wounds in the back and one in the side Dust Off completed at 0909hrs. Bravo Company is at BS783433 working with joint operations with the ARVN and continued to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 0815hrs Charlie Company at BS772441 and by 1330hrs Charlie Company at BS752373 extracted 21 civilians to LZ Liz from there to Military Intelligence at Bronco. They where evading and the area is restricted and also was the area where they had intelligence reported people were digging. At 1845hrs Charlie Company was extracted 91 PZ at 1700hrs at BS759381 and LZ at 1715hrs to LZ Liz.
Delta Company
November 13, 1969
At 0805hrs Delta Company is located at BS802418. At 0845hrs at BS797464 requested Routine Dust Off for 1 Vietnamese female and baby approximately 2 days old, Mother in severe pain Dust Off completed 0913hrs. Delta Company conducted a Combat Assault 1st PZ 1322hrs and LZ at 1328hrs. Delta Company also has a Day Logger at BS802418. Delta Company at 1435hrs and at BS797461 requests Dust Off for Vietnamese boy with gangrene of the buttocks, Dust Off completed at 1450hrs. At 1930hrs Delta Company are in their Night Defense Position at BS802418 which was their Day Logger.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 1010hrs Recon Platoon is still working out of BS717463. At 1800hrs Recon Platoon are working out of BS718467 and at 1930hrs report their Night Defense Position is BS717463.
