Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Cork and will continued to work with ARVN units their Area of Operations in OPERATION VERNON LAKE II. At 1740hrs Aerial Scout at BS373462 engaged 12 NVA in blue and khaki uniforms, results 6 NVA KIA.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 0800hrs 39 Engineer Charlie Company at BS717598 received 20 sniper fire, they return fire and continued their Mine Sweep. At 0900hrs Bravo Company 39 Engineer at BS612900received 100 rounds automatic weapons fire with negative casualties or damage mine sweep team.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company conducted Combat Sweeps in their Area of Operation and at 1005hrs Alpha Company at BS565554 observed 1 VC with pack, no weapon heading north. At 1045hrs Alpha Company is at BS462568 found 9 huts, 1 classroom, 1 tunnel, 2 spider holes used this morning. At 1300hrs Alpha Company is located at BS461552. At 1820hrs Alpha Company and Bravo Company join in their Night Defense Position at BS455549.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued to use Combat Sweeps operations in their Area of Operation. At 1300hrs Bravo Company is located at BS467558 and by 1845hrs Bravo Company has moved into their Night Defense Position with Alpha Company at BS455549.
Charlie Company
November 13, 1968
Charlie Company continued to conduct Combat Sweep operations in their Area of Operation At 1045hrs Charlie Company at BS452571 found 1 hut with fresh camouflaged 2 medium size bunkers, 1 large bunker used and by 1330hrs Charlie Company is located at BS432530. At 1410hrs Charlie Company 82 element conducts is extracted from PZ BS467568 to LZ Cork in 3rd lifts.
Delta Company

At 1300hrs Delta Company is located at BS418566 with 52 at BS418565 and 82 at BS418570. At 1550hrs Delta Company at BS418564 found well used trail that leads to hill 514. At 1822hrs Delta Company is in their Night Defense Position at BS417565. Delta Company reports that SGT John E. Geib and SP4 Nelson M. Ellis were evac to 312th Evac Hospital.
Echo Company
November 13, 1968
Echo Company is located at LZ Cork where Battalion Forward is and coordinates with the Battalion Rear Elements and Base Defense elements on LZ Cork. The 4.2 Platoon is located on LZ Cork where they continue to provide direct fire support for the (1-20 Infantry Battalion). Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Cork.
