Battalion Forward: Headquarters Company is located at LZ Liz. At 0225hrs LZ Liz received 1 round of 82mm mortar negative casualties or damage. 0730hrs Recon Platoon at BS762426 found 2 VCS with NVA uniforms (Khaki) and a shelter half in their possession they are 15-20, one had ID card and one didn’t. At 0905hrs LZ Liz received 2 122mm rockets with negative casualties or damage. At 1625hrs Charlie Company on Southern OP of LZ Liz reports Enemy location at 754420 received 1 round unknown mortar with negative damage or casualties. Charlie Company and Recon remain on LZ Liz for Security Mission.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued to carry out their Mission of general support for the Battalion. At 0218hrs LZ Bronco Base Defense received 3 rounds of 82mm mortar and 2 rounds RPG rounds near Bunker 26, tube at BS819346. Main Attack at Duc Pho MACV satchel charges and mortars and several large fires picked up movement around OD Lake, Sharks and flares ships working area. Duc Pho attack results in 2 Civilians KIA and 22 WIA with 28 homes destroyed.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company is located at LZ Bronco for Security Mission and refitting and at 1410hrs Alpha Company has closed on LZ Liz to work with Charlie Company carry out the Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 0225hrs LZ Liz received 1 round of 82mm mortar which clause negative casualties or damage. At 2000hrs Bravo Company element is at BS734470.
Charlie Company

At 0650hrs Charlie Company received fire from a PF outpost at grid BS803750 called Duc Pho MACV and they first said they had not one there and then they would take care of it. At 1625hrs Charlie Company on Southern OP of LZ Liz reports Enemy location at 754420 received 1 round unknown mortar with negative damage or casualties. At 2000hrs Charlie Company is at LZ Liz.
Delta Company

At 1615hrs Delta Company is located at BS802430 and at 2000hrs Delta Company is moving into their Night Defense Position at BS814421 with 94 at BS809478. 1-4 ARVN Continue to sweep and clear the Area of Contact.
Echo Company

Echo Company Headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0745hrs Recon Platoon at BS762426 found 2 VCS with NVA uniforms (Khaki) and a shelter half in their possession they are 15-20, one had ID card and one didn’t. Charlie Company and Recon remain on LZ Liz for Security Mission.
