Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. LZ Bronco Base Defense picked up movement at BS844385 and BS844787, radar showed then completely disappearance of movement.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company
April 13, 1969
Alpha Company at LZ Bronco at 0800hrs and by 1100hrs Alpha Company is at BS797419, rest at LZ Bronco. At 1215hrs Alpha Company at BS809431 received 25 rounds of small arms fire with negative casualties, returned fire and results with 2 secondary explosions in hay stack hit by M-79. At 1230hrs Alpha Company at BS809431 by 1620hrs Alpha Company in their Night Defense Position at BS808435 and at 1715hrs Alpha Company at BS803434 captured 2 VCS (Female) were received sniper fire. PFC James Hopper was evac to 312th Hospital sick at 2145hrs.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder. Bravo Company at 1830hrs 31 elements moved into their ambush location at BS887305.
Charlie Company
April 13, 1969
Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown. At 0825hrs Charlie Company at BS930223 requested a Dust Off for the Navy on Gilligan Island, for one Vietnamese male age 13 has fractured jaw as a result from Artillery completed at 0845hrs. At 1210hrs Charlie Company at BS930253 Dusted Off for 1 Vietnamese female and baby, shrapnel wounds completed at 1235hrs to LZ Bronco. At 1840hrs Charlie Company at BS919263 spot 25 male 1 brown uniform rest in Vietnamese clothing fired 4.2 results one secondary explosion. At 2006hrs Charlie Company at BS920204 Bridge 94 received sniper fire and returned fire.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security mission for LZ Liz. At 1830hrs Delta Company reports their positions, 33 at Bridge 124, 34 at BS752436, 35 at BS754420, 22 at BS785439 and 21 at BS786434. At 1920hrs Delta Company at BS773433 CIA 1 male negative ID card, dressed in Khaki, no boots, about 35 will keep him tied up and take him to LZ Liz tomorrow.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters is located at LZ Liz. The 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for LZ Charlie Brown. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued the Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 1010hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at BS725435. At 1112hrs 1-20 Infantry request a Dust Off for Vietnamese male, he had a M-79 round and was playing with it, and threw it against a rock has broken right leg and frag wounds of legs.
