Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. OPERATION Summary Americal Division units continued detailed sear and saturation patrolling to interdict VC/NVA routes of infiltration, uncover logistic storage areas and clear enemy areas of concentration, light contact was encountered throughout the Area of Operation.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 2030hrs MACV Duc Pho at BS808378 reports received 1 M-79 reports received 1 M-79 CS round in compound.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued the Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown with local ambushes and 1 Platoon conducts Recon in Force to BS9120.
Bravo Company
March 12, 1969
Bravo Company has the Security Mission for LZ Liz today with 1 Platoon conducts a Recon in force with tracks from E Troop 1-1 Calvary vicinity BS7546.
Charlie Company
March 12, 1969
Charlie Company has the Security Mission for LZ Thunder with local ambushes and one Platoon conducts a Recon in Force to BS8430. At 1310hrs vicinity BS845315 Charlie Company detained 1 VCS. At 1615hrs Charlie Company at LZ Thunder reports Dust Off for 1 US with possible Malaria was completed at 1700hrs.
Delta Company

Delta Company established multiple ambushes south and southeast of LZ Bronco, and today conduct saturation patrolling vicinity BS8036.
Echo Company
March 12, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for the 1-20 Infantry with Security Patrols and Reaction Force.
