Battalion Forward: At 0605hrs 1-20 Infantry at LZ Liz received 1 round 60 Mortar which went over LZ Liz and landed outside of LIZ with negative casualties or damage, from vicinity BS7343 and counter artillery was fired. 4.2 Mortar request Dust Off for one US 80% body burns, burns from flash powder, while firing guns and sparks set it on fire Dust Off completed at 0640hrs. At 0725hrs Warlords Gun Ships worked area at BS758412 with negative results leaving area engaged 1 VC results 1 KIA VC. Echo Company reports PFC Carlos Gonzales was evac to 312th Evac Hospital (11C10 See June 15, 1969)
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued to carry out their Mission of general support for the Battalion. At 2130hrs Bronco Defense picked up on radar 5 men at BS832366 and they moved to BS82369, and as they where moving it appeared they where dropping men off.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company is located at LZ Bronco for Security Mission and refitting.
Bravo Company
June 12, 1969
Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 0605hrs LZ Liz received 1 round 60mm mortar which went over Liz and landed outside of Liz with negative casualties or damage, from grid BS7343 return with counter Artillery fired. At 0625hrs had a LZ Liz Urgent Dust Off for 4.2 Mortar man with 80% burns 2nd Degree from flash powder, firing guns and spark set it off Dust Off completed at 0640hrs.
Charlie Company

At 0803hrs Alpha Company is at LZ Bronco and Charlie Company is at BS808425, 21 BS802420 and 11 BS803425. Delta Company is at Bronco. At 0920hrs Charlie Company at BS820402 Dust Off called for 2 WHA (E) with frag wounds received 2 frag grenades Dust Off is completed at 0915hrs. At 1020hrs Charlie Company is at Day Logger Position at BS808425 with multiple Recon in Force Patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 1107hrs Charlie Company at BS800421 evac 1 detainee to LZ Liz with negative weapon or ID. Charlie Company reports that SP4 Harry D. Boyd and CPL PAUL ROSS was evac to 67 Evac Hospital. CPL PAUL R. ROSS IS LISTED KHA DOW.
Delta Company

At 0803hrs Delta Company is located at LZ Bronco with the 11 element at BS842362 and Delta will remain at LZ Bronco.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0625hrs LZ LIZ 4.2 Platoon request urgent Dust Off for Burns 80% of body burns from flush powder firing guns and sparks set it on fire Dust Off Completed at 0640hrs 2nd Degree Burns. The Recon Platoon moved to LZ Liz with the Security Mission. PFC Carlos Gonzales was evac to 312th Evac Hospital (11C10). (See June 15, 1969)
