Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0700hrs Naval Gun Fire: DATE/TIME/GRID for duration 120700 through 130700 January, 2400 period: BS702601, BS695600, BS739667, BS740604, BS700597, BS748600, BS746598, BS744696, BS740577, BS745478, BS757635, BS760587 and BS761575. At 0900hrs Helix 39 request Air Strike at BS654464 and Air Strike clear grid for 1-20 Infantry. At 2107hrs Division TOC Gail Warning, winds 34 to 47 knots expected in I Corps, coastal are. Starting after 13 0800hrs January predicted 24 to 36hours.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 1836hrs 19th Engineer a 5 ton dump truck convoy just south of bridge 96 at BS917241 received and undermined amount of small arms fire drove out of the firing range of snipers, Unit sustained 2 minor casualties which did not required Dust Off.
Alpha Company

At 0945hrs Alpha Company 31 element is located at BS718515 and the rest are on LZ Dragon. At 1400hrs Alpha Company at BS695528 found base plate for 60mm Mortar evac. At 1620hrs 1-20 Infantry are prepared to and will accept complete control of North and South, Duc Pho Area of Operation immediately. At 1655hrs Alpha Company Command Post LZ Dragon with 86 at BS698530, 84 at BS703538, and 85 at BS715183.
Bravo Company

At 0900hrs Bravo Company at BS789421 found 1 VC KIA, had been dead approximately 3 days. At 1255hrs Bravo Company at BS756407 reports they have found grave containing 1 NVA in green uniform, killed by small arms fire, approximately 1 day old. At 1620hrs 1-20 Infantry are prepared to and will accept complete control of North and South Duc Pho Area of Operation immediately. At 1655hrs Bravo Company on LZ Liz and 41 at BS730432, 43 at BS745443 and 42 at BS764414.
Charlie Company

At 1030hrs Charlie Company is located at BS736410 and Charlie Company is moving to LZ Liz. Charlie Company takes over the Security Mission for LZ Liz with Bravo Company. At 1805hrs Charlie Company locations is at the following 32 at BS766426, 44 at BS762433, and 83 at BS760444 and rest on LZ Liz.
Delta Company

At 0820hrs Delta Company is located at LZ Dragon and Delta makes a Air movement 1st PZ 0805hrs and Last LZ at 0920hrs from LZ Dragon to LZ Liz to LZ Charlie Brown. At 1620hrs 1-20 Infantry are prepared to and will accept complete control of North and South Duc Pho Area of Operation immediately. At 1655hrs Delta Company at LZ Charlie Brown with 44 at BS933242, 43 at BS933232, and 42 at BS934228. At 1620hrs 11th Brigade to 1-20 Infantry are prepared to and will accept complete control of North and South Duc Pho Area of Operation immediately.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued the SRRP operations in their Area of Operation with light enemy activities and at 1836hrs their SRRP location is at BS790470.
