Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. After Air Strike at 1125hrs vicinity BS840364 Jet Aircraft took small arms fire in after burner, during pull out of bombing run, aircraft flew on to home base.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 1155hrs Charlie Company 19 Engineer Dump truck from lowboy going north came across a convoy of comets element 98 received fire no casualties or damage. At 1135hrs Delta Company 19th Engineer while going south near Bridge 98 a quad 50 hit a command detonated mine 40 pounds. There were 2 US WIA not serious also received 700 rounds of automatic weapons fire from both sides of road, Along with Delta Company 19th Engineer, Counter Trailer element also in convoy also no casualties or damage.
Alpha Company

At 0800hrs Alpha Company reports their location at LZ Bronco and taking part in Base Defense for LZ Bronco.
Bravo Company
April 12, 1969
Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder. At 1015hrs Bravo Company 51 element is located at BS902294, 52 at BS901304, 51 at BS920288 detained 1 VCS and evac to LZ Bronco and at 1345hrs engaged 1 VC evading with no ID or weapon also spot 30 VC/NVA called Artillery people scattered negative results and at BS904301. Bravo Company 51 has 1 KIA female age 25 black P.J., No ID, and evading.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown. At 0845hrs Charlie Company will move to BS9128 to check area in a Recon in Force to the area that put fire on Bridge 94 last night. At 1825hrs Charlie Company request Dust Off for Vietnamese he had accident riding his Honda foot injury, requested Dust Off completed at 0855hrs.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security mission for LZ Liz. At 1830hrs Delta Company reports their locations 33 at bridge 124, 34 BS752446, 35 BS754420, 22 BS775447 and 21 at BS778441.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters is located at LZ Liz. The 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Charlie Brown, where the 4.2 Platoon is providing direct fire support for the LZ Charlie Brown. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon conducts a Combat Assault 1st PZ 0657hrs and LZ at 0715hrs vicinity BS634379. At 1025hrs Recon 1-20 Infantry is leaving San Juan Hill this time, at Recon Platoon makes a air move from LZ San Juan Hill to LZ LIZ completed at 1025hrs.
