Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Cork and will continued to work with ARVN units their Area of Operations in OPERATION VERNON LAKE II. Delayed Report: the Aero Scouts requests for Visual Recon DATE/TIME 100730hrs to 101130 for 4-3 Infantry and from 1000hrs to 1130hrs for 1-20 Infantry and from 1300hrs to 1500hrs for 4-3 Infantry from 1330hrs to 1700hrs for 1-20 Infantry and will report to LZ Cork at 100730hrs. Due to weather worked in afternoon only. 196 Infantry reports Headquarters and Headquarter Company with Recon 1-46 Infantry from QN Airport to LZ Baldy PZ 0845hrs and LZ 0920hrs completed. Alpha Company 1-46 Infantry from QN Airport to LZ Baldy PZ 0800hrs and LZ 0915hrs move is completed.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 0700hrs 39 Engineer at BS568979 reports Bridge blown road is impassable passed to (CSIC) SFC Cafferty. At 0920hrs 26 Engineer at BS724568 mine detonated results 1 VC KIA left a 7’ by 5’ crater. Road is passable (premature detonated).
Alpha Company

1st Battalion 20th Infantry and Alpha Company due to heavy weather in the Area of Operations all operations were at a standstill.
Bravo Company
November 11, 1968
1-20 Infantry: Due to weather, all operations were at a standstill Bravo Company used only some Security Patrols and moved their Night Defense Position to BS474558.
Charlie Company

1-20 Infantry reports Due to weather, all operation was at a Standstill, Charlie Company will conducts small security patrols in area of their Night Defense Position.
Delta Company
November 11, 1968
1-20 Infantry due to weather, all operations were at a standstill. At 1411hrs Delta Company conducts a Combat Assault from LZ Cork to LZ BS436590 3 lifts completed at 1411hrs. PFC John E. Poulin was attached to 312 Evac Hospital and SP4 Donald Timmermann was attached to 27th Surgical Hospital.
Echo Company

Echo Company is located at LZ Cork where Battalion Forward is and coordinates with the Battalion Rear Elements and Base Defense elements on LZ Cork. The 4.2 Platoon is located on LZ Cork where they continue to provide direct fire support for the (1-20 Infantry Battalion). Due to the weather most Operations are at a stand still and Recon Platoon moved back to LZ Cork and their Security Mission for LZ Cork.
