Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 0230hrs 174 Aviation LZ Bronco received 8-10 rounds 75mm Recoilless Rifle rounds, 4 in the impacted in Artillery area and 3 rounds in the 174 Aviation area Commanding Officer and Executive Offer and his replacement wounded results 3 WHA (E). At 0725hrs Delta Company 19 Engineer at BS867316 Dust Off 2 Vietnamese females with frag wounds and Dust Off completed to LZ Bronco.

Alpha Company continued the Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown, with local ambushes and 1 Platoon conducts a Recon in Force vicinity BS9322.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company has the Security Mission for LZ Liz today with 1 Platoon conducts a Recon in Force vicinity BS7243.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company has the Security Mission for LZ Thunder with local ambushes and one Platoon conducts a Recon in Force to BS8529.
Delta Company

Delta Company established multiple night ambushes Southeast of LZ Bronco and today conducts saturation patrolling in the vicinity BS8336. At 0828hrs vicinity BS833360 Delta Company engaged one man evading and results 1 VC KIA and at 1042hrs Delta Company at BS835364 received heavy automatic weapons fire and Helix is on station, Estimate 6 enemy in automatic weapons position with unknown results. At 1350hrs vicinity BS841362 Delta Company engaged 2 VC evading results 1 VC KIA and 1 WIA CIA Dust Off to LZ Bronco and notified CI Division.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission on LZ Liz. At 0900hrs Recon At 799431 and evac 1 detainee to LZ Liz for questioning negative weapons or ID.
