Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1345hrs 1-20 Infantry Output 28 will give 1-20 Infantry permission to fire 81mm when logs 28 personnel informs him they are ready to do so. LRRP location No Change and at 1800hrs 1-20 Infantry extracted LRRP Idaho at 1700hrs reason weak battery couldn’t communicated, evac to LZ Liz.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 0115hrs LZ Bronco Base Defense Bunker 25, 26, 27 reported heavy explosive and fire fight in Duc Pho and MACV Duc Pho reported village under mortar and small arms attack. At 0135hrs LZ Bronco Base Defense Bunker 27 received 4 rounds and small arms fire negative casualties or damage.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company has the Security Mission for LZ Dragon. At 1030hrs Alpha Company at BS767536 sotted1 VC KIA female, evading wearing back bottom, and Blue top. At 1100hrs Alpha Company at BS767536 1 VC KIA evading, negative weapon or ID and at BS741625 5 VC suspects evading were pick up negative weapons and no ID evac to Liz. At 1611hrs Alpha Company is closing on LZ Dragon.
Bravo Company

At 0815hrs Bravo Company is location at LZ Dragon. At 1611hrs Bravo Company elements are located 34 at BS744418, 45 at BS729447 and 81 at BS760444 and the rest at LZ Liz. At 1805hrs Bravo Company location are at 34 at BS744418, 43 at BS429427 and 81 at BS760444 rest on LZ Liz. At 1325hrs Bravo Company at BS714426 request Urgent Dust Off, while crossing river man almost drowned Dust Off completed at 1300hrs condition is good, will remain for observation at Bronco. At 1611hrs Bravo Company closed on LZ Liz.
Charlie Company

At 1030hrs Charlie Company is located at BS736410 and Charlie Company is moving to LZ Liz. Charlie Company takes over the Security Mission for LZ Liz with Bravo Company. At 1805hrs Charlie Company locations is at the following 32 at BS766426, 44 at BS762433, and 83 at BS760444 and rest on LZ Liz.
Delta Company

At 0945hrs Delta Company at 692512 found 1 hut with barbed wire and Punji Stakes around it, destroyed. At 1030hrs Delta Company locations 81 are at BS693516 and 41 at BS700515. At 1957hrs Delta 33 at BS712538 engaged one VC evading and result is 1 VC KIA and at 2015hrs the 33 element closed on ambush site at BS713538. Delta Company is on LZ Dragon with Delta Company 31 at BS715534, 32 at BS721529.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued the SRRP operations in their Area of Operation with light enemy activities. At 0815hrs Recon Platoon moving to the east and by 1030hrs Recon is located at LZ Liz.
