Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Cork and will continued to work with ARVN units their Area of Operations in OPERATION VERNON LAKE II.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 0755hrs Charlie Company 39 Engineer at BS710605, Security unit engaged 3 VC, negative results. At 0830hrs at BS718593 found anti personnel mine, 5 pound charge, pull from roadway with grapnel hooks and continue Mine Sweep.
Alpha Company

Bravo Company

Bravo and Charlie Companies are received harassing sniper fire throughout the day with negative casualties as they continue their Search and Clear Operations in their Area of Operation. Bravo Company reports their Night Defense Position at BS318494.

Charlie Company will continue to conduct Combat Sweep and Clear operations in their Area of Operation. Both Bravo and Charlie Companies received harassing sniper fire throughout the day with negative casualties. Charlie Company reports their Night Defense position at BS318494.

Delta Company will continue Search and Clear operations in their Area of Operations. Delta Company reports their Night Defense Position at BS356605.
Echo Company

Echo Company is located at LZ Volunteer where Battalion Forward is and coordinates with the Battalion Rear Elements and Base Defense elements on LZ Volunteer. The 4.2 Platoon is located on LZ Volunteer where they continue to provide direct fire support for the (1-20 Infantry Battalion) with Recon Platoon to continue their Security Mission for the TOC.
