Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations.
At 1755hrs Alpha Company at BS940210 reports Swift Boat, Call Sign "Same Drink R8 picked up a boat that had 12 cases of Anti Tank mines and detained 9 males crew for questioning, Unit will not release the 9 detainee to 11 Brigade, they will interrogate (for info only).Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 1925hrs LZ Bronco at BS812383 received 9 to 10 rounds of 82mm Mortar rounds with no damage, but results 2 WIA (M) from 723 Maintenance Battalion.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company secured LZ Charlie Brown with a couple of local ambushes and today 1 Platoon will conducts Recon in Force vicinity BS9022. Bravo Company

Bravo Company has the Security Mission for LZ Liz and today 1 Platoon will conduct Recon in Force. At 1900hrs 1-20 infantry TOC on LZ Liz reports at BS761357 observed 3 to 10 VC with mortar tub and 1 had a pack and weapon, a AK-47 and Sharks Gun Ships were scrambled. One of the Air Craft took a 50 caliber hit and returned to base on it’s own, so have negative assessment or damage.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company secured LZ Thunder with local ambushes today with 1 Platoon conducts Recon in Force vicinity BS8531. At 1340hrs Charlie Company on LZ Thunder received 2 CS and 1 HE mortar round from unknown size fore along with Automatic Weapons fire with no casualties or damage. At 2150hrs Charlie Company reports from BS863312 receive mortar rounds and from also received 20 to 60 automatic weapons fire. Engineers received 3 rounds of 82mm Mortar rounds and 50 to 60 rounds automatic weapons fire and Artillery received 12 rounds of 82mm mortar rounds and 15 rounds of automatic weapons fire and returned fire with Artillery.
Delta Company

Delta Company has returned to LZ Bronco for a Security Mission will established multiple ambushes East of LZ Bronco last night and today 2 Platoon conducts Recon in Force to BS7445.
Echo Company
March 10, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense.
