Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1210hrs LRRP Oregon inserted at BS667493 and at 1220hrs in contact with unknown size enemy force, report extraction sharks on station extracted at 1226hrs. At 2030hrs SA Huynh received 10-12 60mm mortars, results unknown and Bridge 94 received 200-300 rounds automatic weapons also 1 rocket from BS919217. At 2115hrs 1-20 infantry LZ Liz broadcast from railroad propagation and spotted 3 VC south side of LZ Liz, fired Quad 50 with unknown results. Also Bravo Company on LZ Thunder observed movement at BS875305.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 2150hrs Base Defense LZ Bronco radar picked up moving target at BS838385 and joined larger moving target at BS840386 firing artillery.
Alpha Company
April 10, 1969
At 0800hrs Alpha Company 1st Platoon at Bronco located at BS969381, and at 1010hrs Alpha Company 51 at BS795404, 81 BS785379, 31, 21, and Command Post at BS775387. At 1120hrs Alpha Company is at BS782405 request Dust Off man with leg wounds minor but he is holding up the unit. At 1250hrs Alpha Company found 2 Dud bombs 250 or 500 pound bomb request EOD and at 1305hrs 1 US sprang right leg Dust Off to Bronco completed at 1312hrs. At 1420hrs Alpha Company at BS784405 and at 1325hrs Alpha Company at BS783405 51 element found 1 male KIA with small arms fire, less then 24hrs hold age about 35. At 1850hrs Alpha Company has moved into their Night Defense Position at BS768402, 35 at BS763401, and 21 at BS775402. SP4 Donald A. Duprez was evac to the 312th Evac Hospital at 1130hrs (FRIAR).
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder. The Bravo Company 31 at 1010hrs is at BS889298 moving to BS898303 found documents under bush in suitcase. At 1825hrs Bravo Company 21 is moving to BS886321.
Charlie Company
April 10, 1969
Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown. At 1200hrs Charlie Company 51 is located at BS938225. At 2050hrs Charlie Company at Bridge 84 received 300 to 400 rounds of small arms from BS920214.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security mission for LZ Liz. At 1107hrs Delta Company request Routine Dust Off for US with 105 temp. At 1715hrs Delta Company 34 at 762434 engaged 3 VCS results 1 VC KIA and 2 VC WIA. At 1800hrs Delta Company has 33 at Bridge 124, 34 BS752436 and 35 BS754420. At 1920hrs Delta Company at BS730440 the 21 element engaged 5 VC/NVA with negative results and at 1925hrs Delta 21 reports new location at BS715435.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 1010hrs Recon Platoon closed on LZ Liz as they continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
